Scholarship Program

The Madison Circus Space is pleased to be able to offer scholarships for community members who demonstrate financial need and interest in the circus arts. We have two scholarship funds: a general fund for any class, activity, program, or membership at MCS, and an Aerial fund for aerial-specific classes and activities (excluding memberships). To request a scholarship, please fill out and submit the application below. Note that due to limited funds, the MCS is only able to provide a maximum of $150 assistance per applicant annually from each fund.

Candidates will be judged on the strength of their completed applications, their degree of financial need, and their willingness to partially contribute with their own funding, if possible. Please submit your application at least one week in advance of your scheduled class or activity to allow the committee adequate time to review. Scholarships cannot be award retroactively.

To ask any questions related to the MCS scholarship program or to request assistance with your application, email info@madisoncircusspace.com.

  • Please understand that scholarship funds are limited. If we cannot meet your full request, we may offer you a partial scholarship, which you can accept or decline.
  • Date Format: MM slash DD slash YYYY
  • The Madison Circus Space general scholarship can be used for any class, activity, or membership that takes place at MCS. The Aerial scholarship is limited to aerial-specific classes, workshops, and activities. It cannot be used to fund memberships.
  • (Example: friend, relative, child)
  • (Example: Six-week lyra class starting on [DATE].)
  • Preference will be given to candidates who are new to aerial or have less overall aerial experience.
  • (Total cost - total amount you'd like from scholarship = Total amount responsible)
