Please submit a request if you are interested in renting the Madison Circus Space for an event or activity. Here is a guide to MIDAS, our booking software, for first-time renters. Notes about booking times: For session and recurring classes, the furthest in advance you can book is 12 weeks from the session start date. The exceptions to this rule are shows, one-off workshops, guest workshops, or other special, one-time events. Those may be booked further in advance.
The Madison Circus Space prioritizes rentals to circus, movement arts, performance arts, and dance groups in the Madison area. However, we may make exceptions on a case-by-case basis. Please feel free to contact us at info@madisoncircusspace.com to get further information. All renters must agree to abide by the terms of the MCS Renter’s Agreement and the MCS Anti-Discrimination Policy.
Rates
$5/hour stackable discounts are available for:
- Youth programming (50% or more of participants are under age 18) or senior programming
- Daytime rentals on weekdays (ending prior to 5pm)
- Nonprofit activities (run by either registered nonprofits or community-oriented organizers that do not charge participants or only charge enough to break even)
A 20% discount is also available for all NEW RENTERS for their first three months renting at MCS. Beyond the three-month mark, standard rental rates will apply.
An additional discount is available for block programming scheduled Monday through Friday between the hours of 6am and 4pm. A 10% discount will apply to bookings that total 10+ hours on consecutive days. A 20% discount will apply to bookings that total 20+ hours on consecutive days.
Note that rentals may be adjusted retroactively to reflect space actually used rather than space reserved. Please email the scheduling director if you need your rental adjusted.
