Dance Night for Human Rights

The present iterations and variations of persistent state violence implore us to ask, how are our times new and how are our times connected with what has come before? Naturally this leads us to inquire, what tools of resistance have been passed down to us? On May 2, we invite you to join us for an evening of artistic action.

Engage with local groups to learn more about ways to get involved in your community, and take part in DIY zines and art-making. Then, be moved by five local choreographers’ dance works investigating and celebrating identity, place, migration, and community.

All proceeds from tickets will be donated to organizations providing resources to folks impacted in various ways by recent state violence.
