Class Description
Youth Intro to Aerial Arts: Tuesdays 4:30 pm – this class is for new students and will introduce the fundamentals of aerial fabrics, including climbing, poses, and safety. These classes are on a drop-in basis – please schedule each week you wish to attend.
Youth Continuing Aerial Silks/Sling: Tuesdays 5:30 pm – continue learning new skills and reviewing the fundamentals. This class is for students who have taken 6 hours of introductory classes or have instructor permission. This class is taught as a 12-week series, but students may enter mid-term as they complete intro classes.
Youth Advanced Aerial Silks: Wednesdays 5:00 pm – Students who have advanced past fundamentals will work on higher level skills and choreography. Permission from the instructor is required to attend this class.
Youth Performance Group: Mondays 5:00 pm – Looking for a new way to learn and grow? Participants will explore technique, character development, partnering, choreography devising, costuming, and creative expression. Classes will include musicality, storytelling, collaboration, as well as techniques in aerial and dance. The end result will be a choreographed act to be performed at an upcoming show at Madison Circus Space.

Students will learn to climb, foot lock, go upside down, and more on aerial silks and sling. Classes use a blend of formal instruction and playtime to encourage safe but creative movement!
Students will be physically spotted by instructors at times.
About the Instructor
Stephanie has been practicing aerial arts for 13 years and teaching for 6. She loves sharing the art form as well as all the “side effects” like strength, community, and personal growth.
