This circuit-based conditioning class focuses on improving strength for life as well as for all circus arts. In each class, you’ll work on the lower body, upper body, and core. Most movements are compound and involve multiple muscle groups. Class is not cardio-based, but aerobic movements may show up every so often. The instructor is able to provide modifications so students at any fitness level can find class challenging but manageable. Students are asked to bring their own basic equipment to each class: set of weights, yoga mat, resistance band, yoga block(s), etc. Students who do not have equipment are still welcome to join class, as we have extra equipment to share!
About the Instructor
Carly Schuna is an original co-founder of the Madison Circus Space, where she practices and teaches German wheel, dynamic trapeze, duo trapeze, lyra, teeterboard, juggling, and conditioning.
