INTRO TO DUO TRAPEZE:
REGISTRATION FULL; WAITLIST OPEN. Join us to explore partnering in this fun introduction series to doubles trapeze! You’ll learn and grow more comfortable with various basing and flying positions on trapeze, practice taking others’ weight, and work on the nuances of communicating timing and movement with your partner. Explore basing, flying, or both, at your own comfort level. Signing up with a partner is encouraged but not required.
COMING FULL CIRCLE:
SPOTS STILL AVAILABLE. Do you dream of whirling around your apparatus? Then this workshop mini-series is for you! We’ll cover circles of all kinds, including various spins around the bar and ropes, single- and double-leg Russian rolls, half and full Mill circles, back hip circles, forward hip circles, single knee circles, and elbow/back circles. Already familiar with some of those? Explore alternate entrances, exits, and variations on what you know. Suitable for circus artists of all levels, including beginners. Learn the physics and mechanics of each circle, how to train it safely, how to spot it, and how to work up to it. Most circles are not apparatus-specific, so join us no matter what you train on, whether it’s trapeze, lyra, or something else!
