If you’ve ever wanted to improve your strength and stamina in circus arts this is the class for you! We’ll work with a partner and learn how to safely incorporate different variations on exercises to improve fitness and technique. This class will have three to four aerial stations to train a variety of aerial specific skills like inversions and stamina on vertical apparatuses. There will also be opportunities to request help with specific goals and skills. Ground and floor stations will help to improve strength and active flexibility. Conditioning is the first step to taking your performances and training to a higher level.
Warmup and active flexibility 5-10 minutes
Toe touches, Stamina climbs, situps on bar, planks 10-15 min
Group Abs 5 min
Inverts, skin the cats, front balance, side plank balances 10-15 min
Group Legs 5 min
Aerialists’ choice, we’ll take requests!
No specific skill or fitness level is required. Bring a water bottle and be ready to move!
