6:30 pm: Beginner 3 -5 (Can invert consistently from the ground without jumping or tagging a foot on the fabrics)
8:30 pm: Advanced Beginner – Intermediate (Can invert consistently from a climb without tagging a foot on the fabrics)

7:00 pm: Open Practice with Guided Review (Open to anyone who has completed one session of silks with any instructor) *No registration deadline, available as a drop-in.
8:00 – 9:30 pm: Inversion Immersion (Open to anyone who has completed one session of silks with any instructor)

Memberships: Swing State Aerial offers a weekly flat-rate membership ($85/wk) that includes unlimited attendance in any regularly scheduled group silks class with Mackenzie at or below the student’s level. Please see our website for details.

If you have completed introductory classes elsewhere but are looking for a different schedule, smaller class, or detailed coaching in fundamental technique, we have a few spots available in continuing beginner classes.
Building on techniques learned in introductory classes, these series develop strength, grace, and precision in foundation skills while introducing new vocabulary, increasing stamina, and working at greater heights while being absolutely awesome.

Age limits: Students must be 16+
Mackenzie has an extensive background in dance and movement performance and education, with studies at Macalester College and Iowa State University, and aerial training with NECCA and Born to Fly. Beginning her aerial arts journey in 2010, she practices, choreographs, directs, and performs in shows at MCS and other local venues. As an instructor, she strives to develop solid foundational skills in her students by focusing on each student’s unique physiology and needs to help them be the best aerialist they can be.
