Class Description
Ballet Joy comes to MCS for kids ages 7-11 years!
Ballet Joy classes use a balanced, age-appropriate curriculum based upon the Cecchetti Method so all ballet fundamentals will be learned progressively and confidently.
One of the main ingredients of Ballet Joy is to ensure that the ballet structure is sprinkled with creativity so that the children get to release their colorful and unique spontaneity that all dancers should embrace! Catrina upholds and shares all of the benefits that ballet has to offer and encourages the practice of an attentive and nurturing mind/body connection.
Ballet is an artform that reveals the study of details in a sophisticated manner that helps to develop a profound life long influence and Catrina loves to share her experience, knowledge, and stories with her students as they discover and grow into their own love of learning.
About the Instructor
Catrina Choate-Heretoiu is a dedicated ballet and somatics teacher with a long and established professional and academic career.
Her approach to ballet encourages kindness, respect, and a healthy learning environment for all.
