Class Description
Aerial Parties/Samplers are scheduled for groups of 4-18 (larger groups can be accommodated with advanced planning) by appointment. Additional attendees who observe only (or are the group photographer!) are welcome at no additional charge.
Looking for a unique, fun activity for a birthday, bachelorette, or corporate team building (or just because)? Want to try aerial arts but not sure it’s right for you? Schedule a sampler class with your friends and find out! This one-time class in either silks, sling, or dance trapeze will cover basic skills and some badass picture-worthy poses, and fun flying that almost anyone can do.
(Note: No alcohol is permitted at Swing State Aerial or Madison Circus Space, and any consumption of alcohol or other intoxicating substances will prohibit participation in your party sampler except watching and being jealous.)
Sampler classes are also available for dancers, polers, climbers, gymnasts, people with mobility restrictions, or other groups with non-average physical needs – the skills offered can be custom-tailored to any group!
For standard parties, participants must be at least 7 years old. Email us for a quote for under-7s parties!

About the Instructor
Mackenzie has an extensive background in dance and movement performance and education, with studies at Macalester College, Iowa State University, and Nimble Arts. Adding in aerial arts in 2010, she practices, choreographs, directs, and performs in shows at MCS and other local venues. As an instructor, she strives to develop solid foundational skills in her students by focusing on each student’s unique physiology and needs to help them be the best aerialist they can be.
Stephanie has been performing in aerial arts since 2010, and has recently branched into teaching as well! Trained by Nimble Arts and traveling to studios all over the country to learn new things and make new connections, she brings a fun sparkly attitude and an individualized, created approach to aerial sling/hammock.
