Grand Opening Open House

MCS Grand Opening Oct 25 2019

On Friday, October 25, 2019 we invite you to join us in our brand new built-for-circus space at 2082 Winnebago Street! Experience mini shows happening on top of every hour, where a variety of circus disciplines will be performed by our very own MCS students and members! Inspired by what you watched? Sample circus activities for FREE after each show! Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages will be available by donation.

We did it! MCS is a good 6 year old volunteer-run non-profit. We started in a warehouse with just 12 members. Now we have over 80 members and are opening a new permanent facility designed for training and performing a variety of circus arts. We couldn’t have done this without the amazing support of our community!

Special thanks to Madison Community Foundation, William T Evjue Charitable Trust, Endres Manufacturing, Dane Arts, Sasy Neighborhood Association, Monona Bank, Diane Ballweg, Madison Arts Commission, and many many individuals!

Wisconsin State Journal: Madison Circus Space has high-flying dreams for new building

Madison Circus Space member Kristina Whisenhunt spins on a German wheel during a training exercise at the group's temporary location on Madison's East Side last month. The group hopes to have its new facility open later this summer. We spent some time with the Wisconsin State Journal to talk about exciting new projects and goals, tour the site of our beautiful new building and peek into our temporary training space.
