The Late Spring Session with Swing State Aerial has some room for continuing beginners in mixed level 3 – 5 classes. This session runs from May 20 – June 27, 2018. Beginner 3-5 sections are available on Sundays at 1 pm and 2 pm, and Wednesdays at 7:30 pm.
If you have completed introductory classes elsewhere but are looking for a different schedule, smaller class, or detailed coaching in fundamental technique, we have a few spots available in continuing beginner classes.
Building on techniques learned in introductory classes, this series develops strength, grace, and precision in foundation skills while introducing new vocabulary, increasing stamina, and working at greater heights while being absolutely awesome.
Beginner 3 Prerequisites: Controlled climbs/descents in both French/basic and Russian climbs, consistent figure-8 footlocks from a climb, ability to enter and balance in a hip key from a Russian climb, knowledge of eggbeater/dancer wrap footlocks, ability to cleanly invert in a tuck between the silks from the ground without a knot. (More information on prerequisites can be found at swingstateaerial.com/classes)
Current Swing State students do not need to re-register. If you are a new to Swing State with prior silks instruction, please fill out the registration form.
